The Centre is designed as a ‘Mini – home’ and a learning environment that protects the child’s right to a healthy, happy and appropriate childhood. Here at Cherry Nurseries we are always eager to provide a happy, smooth and memorable transition into nursery for every child when they start with us. For most children, the long journey of education does not only start when they enter school. It begins at home and continues into nurseries or pre-schools. We know that learning must be “meaningful” for a child and so our planning and play experiences are explored through a “hands-on” approach. Our mission is to intrinsically motivate all children to learn and that it is our role as teachers to facilitate and create an environment supporting a child’s passion and excitement for learning. The best of nurseries can offer an enjoyable and smooth transition from toddlerhood to the reception classes at primary school. We offer classes up until Foundation Stage 2.
